If you didn’t know there was a Walking Dead FPS game, don’t be alarmed. I think quite a few gamers were unaware of the FPS game. As a matter of fact, I don’t think a lot of people even know about the action/adventure Walking Dead game developed by Telltale Games (which is a phenomenal game and no, it didn’t make me cry. I just had something stuck in my eyes).
The AMC blog released information detailing the release date for The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct. It will be released in North America on March 26th and in Europe March 29th.
The AMC and Activision produced game star Daryl and Merle Dixon in the days prior to their meet-up with the rest of the crew from the television series. Unlike the Telltale game which follow the comic series, this game will follow along the storyline of the television series.
From what I’ve seen so far from the game, I am not impressed. It looks rushed, unpolished, and somewhat boring. Quite honestly, it looks a lot like Dead Island with a different veneer. Now, I am extrapolating from a video of in-game footage a fan put together a week or so ago, so we’ll have to see what Activison releases in the following weeks.
Also, this game is being produced for the Wii U…yay!
